Feeling the Fall Vibes

I can't believe this, it's only September 2nd and I am already feeling way to excited for fall. We literally haven't even started school yet. It is still technically "summer." What is wrong with me? I always get super hype about the fall/winter season. Yes, I am one of those people who thinks it's Christmas time the moment October 31st comes to an end. Who cares about Thanksgiving anyway?
Actually, on the topic of Thanksgiving, I usually hate it, as I think most Americans do, mostly because you have to spend time with family. Honestly, there are some troubles in our family with the whole political scene happening right now, but we managed to get through it last year. Also, I used to hate the food as well, which was shocking to most people. Turkey? Mashed potatoes? Stuffing? What is not to love? Well, my fifteen and younger self was wrong. I now love Thanksgiving food. Cranberries? Yes. Yams? Yes. Green bean casserole? F- me up! I can't wait.
Wait why did I start with Thanksgiving? Now I have to back track to Halloween, truly the best holiday around. You literally dress up and get candy, it's amazing. Here's the trouble with Halloween though, once you get old it becomes weird. I know when you're in college and older it's fun because someone you know is always throwing a party, but when you are a lame high school kid it's different. I dressed up last year, which was lame, but I still had fun! And I want to do it again, but I don't know who to do it with? Probably Vitusya, I don't want to do it with Scout again. I totally am excited for Bad Day to be a Pumpkin at school. That's always fun, not the whole ceremony, but dressing up and not being judged, that's what I like.
Oh I just can't wait until full fall kicks in. The leaves fall, the pumpkin spice returns, the sweaters come out of the drawers, seriously, what is not to love? I am so excited! Bring it on, fall!!!
